Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 April 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the websites you visit. We also use related technologies such as localStorage to remember your preferences. This policy describes which cookies and similar storage we use on alteacloud.com.
2. Cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- altea-lang (localStorage) — remembers your language choice (BG / EN). No expiry; cleared when you clear browser data.
- altea-theme (localStorage) — remembers light/dark mode preference. No expiry; cleared when you clear browser data.
Analytics
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4. Used to count visitors, see which pages perform well, and measure traffic sources. IP addresses are anonymised. Lifetime: up to 13 months.
Marketing & advertising
- _fbp — Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Identifies the browser for delivering Meta advertising and measuring ad conversions. Set by
connect.facebook.net. Lifetime: 3 months. - fr — Meta. Used for ad delivery and measurement on Facebook and Instagram. Set when the Pixel loads. Lifetime: 3 months.
The Meta Pixel (ID 855026974301073) sends a small set of data (page URL, timestamp, browser-level identifier) to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. so we can measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta is a separate data controller for that processing — see facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Third-party services
- Stripe — when you pay an invoice through our client portal, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts & Cloudflare CDN — fonts and JavaScript libraries (GSAP) are served from these CDNs. They do not set tracking cookies for our use.
3. How to opt out
The cookies and storage above are active by default when you visit. A small notice in the bottom-right corner of the page informs you of this on your first visit; dismissing it does not change tracking — it only hides the notice. To disable analytics or advertising tracking, you have several options:
- Browser settings — every modern browser lets you block, delete or restrict cookies. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" in your browser preferences. You can also enable a "Do Not Track" signal, which we honour where supported.
- Google Analytics opt-out — install the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on to block GA4 across every site you visit.
- Block ad trackers — privacy extensions like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger or DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials block the Meta Pixel and most other advertising scripts by default.
- Manage Meta ad preferences — sign in to your Facebook or Instagram account → Settings → Ads → Ad Preferences to control how Meta uses tracking data about you.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies / storage may break basic features such as language switching and dark mode.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this page when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
